NOTIFICATION NO. SO 2356(E) [F.NO.1/16/2015-M.VI], DATED 11-7-2016
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11C of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments to the First Schedule of the Act, namely:—
In the First Schedule, in Part B, after entry 11, the following entry shall be inserted, namely:—
“12. Beach sand minerals, that is, economic heavy minerals found in the teri or beach sands, which include ilmenite, rutile, leucoxene, garnet, monazite, zircon and sillimanite.”.
