It has been decided to consider the proposal to create Central Marine Police Force for strengthening coastal security. It has also been decided, in principle, to establish a National Marine Police Training Institute at Pindara village in Devbhoomi Dwarka district of Gujarat to train the marine police personnel of all coastal States/UTs.
