G.S.R.68 (E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), read with sub-section (1) of section 25 and section 156 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1)These rules may be called the India-Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (Bilateral Safeguard Measures) Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
