S.O. 831(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Recovery of Debts Due to Banks and Financial Institutions Act, 1993 (51 of 1993), the Central Government hereby notifies the establishment of the Debts Recovery Tribunal at Siliguri with effect from the 16th day of March, 2017 and consequent upon establishment of the Debts Recovery Tribunal at Siliguri and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 84(E), dated the 6th February 2002, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the jurisdictions of Debts Recovery Tribunal No. 1, Kolkata, Debts Recovery Tribunal No. 2, Kolkata, Debts Recovery Tribunal No. 3, Kolkata and Debts Recovery Tribunal Siliguri in the State of West Bengal will be as shown in the Table given below:—
