Online travel agents required to collect TCS under GST

Question : Do travel agents providing services through digital or electronic platform qualify as ECOs? Will they be required to collect tax at source as per the provisions of Section 52 of the CGST Act, 2017?

Answer: Online travel agents providing services through digital or electronic platform will fall under the category of
ECOs liable to deduct TCS under Section 52 of the CGST Act, 2017.
