The Nationwide Tax Forums offer tax professionals with unresolved client cases the opportunity to meet face to face with IRS representatives in the Case Resolution Program. A Forum attendee must bring a valid power of attorney for any case he or she wishes to work with the IRS.

4. Technical Guidance
Revenue Procedure 2017-38 modifies Rev. Proc. 2017-3, 2017-1 I.R.B. 130, which sets forth areas of the Internal Revenue Code on which the Internal Revenue Service will not issue letter rulings or determination letters. It will appear in IRB 2017-22 dated May 30.
Notice 2017-31 provides guidance on the corporate bond monthly yield curve, the corresponding spot segment rates used under Section 417(e)(3), and the 24-month average segment rates under Section 430(h)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code. Notice 2017-31 will be in IRB 2017-22, dated May 30.
