Aadhaar Mandatory for National Career Services , Stipend to Trainees ,Persons with Disabilities

Summary ; As per the Following Notification Aadhaar has been made mandatory for persons receiving benefit under

i)Scheme of “National Career Services” (hereafter

ii) Scheme of “Stipend to Trainees under the Scheme of Welfare for the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes Job-seekers through Coaching, Guidance and Vocational Training implemented by the National Career Services Centres for the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes

iii) Scheme of “Stipend to Persons with Disabilities defined under the Right of Person With

Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016

New Delhi, the 27th February, 2017

S.O. 638(E).—Whereas, the use of Aadhaar as identity document for delivery of services or benefits or

subsidies simplifies the Government delivery processes, brings in transparency and efficiency, and enables beneficiaries to get their entitlements directly in a convenient and seamless manner and Aadhaar obviates the need for producing multiple documents to prove one’s identity;

And whereas, the Scheme of “National Career Services” (hereafter referred to as the Scheme) involves expenditure

from the Consolidated Fund of India;
