Appointment of Judges in the Supreme Court

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (2) of article 124 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Ajay Manikrao Khanwilkar, Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, to be a Judge of the Supreme Court of India with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (2) of article 124 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Dr. Justice Dhananjaya Yashwant Chandrachud, Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court, to be a Judge of the Supreme Court of India with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (2) of article 124 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Ashok Bhushan, Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court, to be a Judge of the Supreme Court of India with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (2) of article 124 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Lavu Nageswara Rao, to be a Judge of the Supreme Court of India with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.
