S.O. 454(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Recovery of Debts Due to Banks and Financial Institutions Act, 1993 (51 of 1993) and in supersession of the notifications of the Government of India, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 274 (E), dated the 31st March 2000 and G.S.R. 71 (E), dated the 31st January, 2002, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby establish the Debts Recovery Tribunal at Dehradun with effect from the 16th day of February, 2017 and hereby specifies the area of jurisdiction of the Debts Recovery Tribunals at Allahabad, Lucknow and Dehradun in the States of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, as mentioned in column (4) of the Table below, namely:—
