Q  What will be the time of supply where multiple invoices are issued for a single consignment involving supply of goods?

The time of supply of goods shall be the earlier of

i) The date of issue of invoice by the supplier or

ii) the due date of issue of invoice ( ref section 28 –Tax invoice )

iii) date on which the supplier receives the payment

If the supplier has not received the payment in case of multiple invoices issued for a single consignment of
supply, the time of supply shall be ascertained regarding the date of issuance of such invoices since the provisions relating to time of supply of goods do not prescribe the date of receipt of goods by the recipient as one of the factors to ascertain the time of supply of goods.
