The Central Board of Direct Taxes(CBDT) has notified Income Tax Return Form (ITR Forms) ITR 6 for AY 2018-19  for reporting income earned during Financial Year  2017-18 .

For Companies other than companies claiming exemption under section 11

(Please see rule 12 of the Income-tax Rules,1962 Is there any change in the company’s name If yes, please furnish the old name Corporate Identity Number (CIN) issued by MCA

How to file ITR 6 for AY 2018-19 / FY 2017-18

ITR 6 for AY 2018-19 / FY 2017-18  are to be filed electronically on the Income Tax India efiling of website of Income Tax department.

There is no option to file return in paper form . However where return is furnished in ITR Form-1 (Sahaj) or   ITR-4 (Sugam), the following persons have an option to file return in paper form:-

(i)  an Individual of the age of 80 years or more at any time during the previous year; or

(ii) an Individual or HUF whose income does not exceed five lakh rupees and who has not claimed any refund in the Return of Income.
