List of Expenses of which Assessing Officer makes Disallowance

Following expenses are always on the top of the list of Assessing Officer for making disallowances: –

1. Expenses pertaining to exempt income.
2. Expenses on which TDS is applicable and TDS is not deducted or short deducted
3. Interest expense, especially when interest free loans provided to subsidiaries or associates.
4. Directors/Partners’ foreign travelling expenses.
5. Bad debt.
6. Pooja expenses.
7. Personal Expenses
8. Prior Period Expenses
