Ever since the scrapping of old 500 and 1,000 rupee notes, the govt has repeatedly said that the honest need not worry. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has re-iterated that accounts of the poor will not be scrutinised prior to the demonetisation announcement date of the 8th of November and instructions have been issued to officials in this regard. PM Modi has one again urged the nation to embrace digital payment methods to ensure that corruption and black money is rooted out of the country.
