SAG Marathon Gold to India
Indian Men and Women win Gold Medals in Marathon. Nitenender Singh Rawat completed his target in 2:15:18:00 hrs. One second trail put Sri Lankan, C. Aruradha Indra to second place and got Silver Medal. Khetha Ram of India could manage Bronze Medal only.
In Women’s Marathon, Indian athlete Kavitha Raut covered the target distance in 2:38:38:00 hrs and struck Gold medal. Sri Lankan athletes N.G. Rajasekara bagged Silver while B.G.L. Anuradhi got Bronze medal.
