Greetings from Indirect Taxes Committee!
India is witnessing a sea change in the indirect taxes regime. The implementation of much awaited Goods and Services Tax is around the corner with receipt of presidential assent to the four GST Acts viz CGST, IGST, UTGST & GST Compensation. GST implementation requires a major knowledge transformation exercise in the Country for all relevant stakeholders. It is, therefore, has become imperative for professional like Chartered Accountants to keep abreast with latest developments and grab the opportunities presented by the GST.
The Indirect Taxes Committee of ICAI, being proactive, to keep the members abreast with the latest developments in the field of GST launched a publication – BGM on GST Acts and Draft Rules, 2017 which contain a clause by clause analysis of the GST Act along with FAQ’s, MCQ’s, Flowcharts and Illustrations etc. to make the reading and understanding easier.
