Taxpayers can connect to the IRS via IRS2Go application for mobile phones
Those taxpayers who need tax help can simply take your cell phone and download the mobile application, IRS2Go which is free and available for use with any iOS or Android system.
Taxpayers can use IRS2Go for:
- Check the status of your refund. Taxpayers can check the status of your refund federal tax within 24 hours after the IRS has received a tax return electronically or four weeks after the taxpayer mail a paper return.
- Make a payment. The application offers easy payment options as access Direct Pay the IRS . This provides taxpayers a free and secure way to pay directly from your Bank Account. They can also make a payment by debit or credit card through a payment processor approved.
- Find free help preparing taxes. If a taxpayer is eligible, you can access software free tax from your mobile phone with the Free File tool in the IRS2Go application. You can use this software to prepare and file your taxes quickly and get a refund. Taxpayers who requested an extension to file your taxes can use the application to present before the extended deadline of October.
- Help and recommendations. Taxpayers can use the application to access the IRS in social media, including links to videos on YouTube IRS and the IRS Twitter accounts. Taxpayers can also use the application to subscribe to receive Tax Tips IRS email .
