Taxpayers can visit IRS.gov/espanol to resources that help you understand the tax reform

Taxpayers who have questions about the Employment Act and tax cuts have several resources to help answer questions. This legislation, enacted in December 2017, changed many areas of the tax law. The following are some of the resources available in IRS.gov/espanol that will help individual taxpayers, businesses and the tax community

  • New website on tax reform The IRS created the tax reform page to highlight what taxpayers should know about tax law changes and how they affect taxpayers. This page also includes links to press releases, publications, notices and legal guidance related to this law.
  • Update Withholding Calculator. The IRS updated thewithholding calculator to include changes to the withholding tables. The IRS encourages everyone to use the Withholding Calculator “check your paycheck” quickly, which is even more important this year due to changes in tax law. The calculator helps taxpayers determine if they are withheld from your paycheck the correct amount of tax.
  • Update W-4 (SP), Exemption Certificate Retentions Employee. Taxpayers who determine they have to make changes to your withholding, you can consult the newForm W-4 (SP) , updated, including changes to the tax law. Employees must submit Form W-4 (SP) completed their employers.
  • Frequent questions. The IRS issued new FAQ to help people understand how to use the calculator Retentionand changes to withholding tables (in English) .

More information about changes to the tax law will come throughout the year. IRS.gov be updated to include the changes as they develop.
