How do I block lost Debit Card?
Loss of ATM, Debit card or any other Card issued by HDFC Bank must be immediately reported to HDFC PhoneBanking Click here unit to have the card hotlisted (cancelled). The PhoneBanking Click here facility (Hotlisting Desk) is available round the clock. Simultaneously, you may also place your card replacement request. Alternatively, you may also submit the form at the nearest branch. The application form may be collected from the Branch or downloaded from HDFC web site www.hdfcbank.com (click on “Forms Centre” at the top of the web page).
We also have the facility of Hotlisting/blocking the Debit Cards through Netbanking. If you are registered for NetBanking facility, you can now hotlist/block your Debit Cards on-line and real-time.
Process of Debit Card hotlisting through NetBanking :-
Step 1:-Login to HDFC NetBanking Click here using your NetBanking Id and Password
Step 2:-Click on the new Debit Card tab and then on Debit Card Hotlisting at the left hand side. This will give you the Debit Cards that are linked to your account.
Step 3:-If there are more than one Debit Card linked to your account, you will get a list of the same. Click on the Debit Card No. you wish to hotlist.
Step 4:-Select the reason for hotlisting, put the remarks and confirm.
Step 5:-You will receive the confirmation that the Card has been hotlisted online.
