Amendment of certain Acts.
173 . Save as otherwise provided in this Act, on and from the date of commencement of this Act, the Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation Act, 1956 (23 of 1956) and the Chhattisgarh Municipalities Act, 1961 (37 of 1961) shall be deemed to be amended in respect of Entry 62 of List II- State List of the Seventh Schedule to the Constitution of India.
